Seth Aldridge: Call me crazy

Call me crazy, but with a race for the Democrat seat so close, and the Clinton camp trying to get Obama as a running mate, is this CNN trying to sway opinion...or at least a poor attempt at foreshadowing?
I could be reading too much into this, but knowing how screwed up the "media" is it wouldn't exactly shock me.
